Honest food celebrating the Fleurieu Peninsula

Farm to plate – nose to tail – root to leaf.

We pride ourselves on our ethical sustainability. Everything at Leonards Mill is sourced locally and made from scratch. It is our ethos, our way of life.

We buy in whole animals and use everything, so nothing is wasted. Currently all our proteins are sourced within 20km of the restaurant and all our amazing fresh produce only comes from the Fleurieu Peninsula. We only buy what is in season – and there are seasons within seasons, and what grows well in our local suppliers’ soil so our menu changes regularly.

Please be aware that some items on our menu may not be available or items may change due to produce availability. Our website is updated by humans and whilst we try to keep it up to date, it may not always be!

For lunch

We offer a seasonal a la carte menu which changes every six weeks, depending on produce availability. We recommend choosing a minimum of two courses per person to truly experience the flavours of the Fleurieu. Tasting menu also available.

For dinner

Friday & Saturday evenings

Our dinner menu changes every week, depending on what fabulous local produce we can get our hands on.

The chefs create a 5 course degustation menu fresh every Friday – that means there is only 5 dishes on our dinner menu. We highly recommend you choose to do all 5 plus the few fun extras for a really memorable evening. Or if you are not feeling like all 5 you can pick 2 or 3 courses off of the dinner menu.

Please ensure that all dietary requirements are communicated at time of booking to get the full Leonards Mill experience.

What our chef has to say

Our drinks list is local and ever-changing. We love to support the smaller family owned wineries and craft brewers. We are happy to recommend a glass or two or even a bottle of stunning boutique wine or local beer, that will soon become your favourite too.

We do understand that you may have a special bottle that you would like to drink and we charge a Corkage fee of $20 and limited to one 750ml bottle per booking.

Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy free, nut free – all eating preferences are welcome. To ensure all allergy or dietary requirements are catered for, please advise the restaurant at time of booking.
